Ivan Montik
FOUNDER OF SOFTSWISS
Ivan Montik, founder of SOFTSWISS, holds a Master’s degree in management and economics and brings a solid IT background to the role. He began his career in finance and media, first as a corporate client manager at Priorbank JSC, Raiffeisen Group, and later as the head of the Belarusian representative office of Bigmir.net – part of KP Media, the largest Ukrainian media holding.
Ivan founded SOFTSWISS in 2009 with a team of two developers, providing software solutions to clients in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Over the next few years, he grew the team to 30 employees and steered the company away from IT services towards product development. Under Ivan’s leadership, SOFTSWISS has grown from a small outsourcing startup into a global company. It now employs over 2,000 people worldwide, holds more than 30 prestigious industry awards, and is headquartered in Malta.
In 2023, Malta’s Best Entrepreneur of the Year Awards named him Best Technology Entrepreneur, recognising his contributions to innovation and technology.
