Evgeny Zaretskov serves as Group Chief Security Officer at SOFTSWISS, bringing over 15 years of experience building and leading security functions. He has worked across fast-growth companies and within a Fortune Global 500 financial institution, developing deep expertise in multi-entity technology businesses operating in high-risk, regulated markets – including iGaming, FinTech, and Crypto.
Evgeny leads a security team of 50+ people and oversees cybersecurity for a global business with more than 2,000 employees across multiple jurisdictions. He sets group-wide security governance, leads M&A security due diligence and integration, and aligns risk decisions with product and business priorities. His focus is on clear risk ownership, measurable resilience, and governance that supports business growth.
He works closely with executive leadership, regulators, and law enforcement to protect trust and maintain the company’s licence to operate, while enabling engineering velocity.
